About the Job
The product line Precision Amplifiers focus on the development of integrated circuits in the areas of high precision operational amplifiers (OPA), instrumentation amplifiers (INA) and programmable gain amplifiers (PGA) used worldwide in industrial, audio and consumer markets.

Topic of the internship is the analysis of operational and instrumentation prototypes in conjunction with new product development, with the focus on some of the following points:
Characterization of key product parameters using laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer ...)Verification, optimization and automation of existing measurement and test conceptsProcessing, evaluation and presentation of measurement dataMeasurement data acquisition on Automated Test Equipment (ATE)Assignment to one or more own development project in the areas: Automation of a measurement setup, Bench to ATE correlation or development of new measurement approaches
Minimum 16 weeks
Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
Independent, conscientious and team-oriented performanceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Experience with LabView, Spoffire, MatLab, JAVA, C++, and/or other programming skills Proficiency with bench level test equipment (i.e., DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters)Basic understanding of operational amplifiersCoursework providing knowledge and background in semiconductor processing, process control methodology and/or device failure analysis. Eligible: Experience with measuring techniques and instruments for the high precision DC and AC parameters
