POSITION SUMMARY
During the 6-months traineeship you will get the chance to experience and contribute to the key strategic initiatives of the different areas of revenue optimization, such as distribution, pricing and systems. We offer an inspiring work environment with a steep learning curve thanks to strong mentoring and early responsibility. The duration of the traineeship should be at least 4 months, but longer periods are encouraged.

THE TEAM
The Revenue Optimization team (RevOps) is part of the global headquarters organisation of the firm and has the task of maximizing the commercial success of the hotel chain. Hotels do their utmost to provide customers an unforgettable experience, to live by the company’s vision of ‘Every Moment Matters’. At RevOps, we strive to get rewarded for the value our hotels deliver, time and time again.
What is the optimal room type configuration for a city center hotel, or an airport hotel?How do we maximize upselling performance for a Park Inn in Manchester vs. a Radisson Blu in Nigeria?How do we look at our data and use it to (re-)define key actions to improve our revenue performance?How can we best roll-out the strategic initiatives throughout the various geographical regions: Europe, Middle East, AfricaBy joining the RevOps team, you will be part of an incredibly international, diverse team with lots of passion for their work and a common goal: getting results.


REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
We are looking for passionate individuals with good academic results and in or past their third year of studies. We are open to all sorts of candidates: from hotel school, business administration, engineering, communication science or anything that you fancy. A passion for commercial topics in the hotel industry is more important than your specific academic discipline. If you possess strong analytical skills, communication skills, are curious and like to work in teams – we would love to have you onboard!
Post-graduate degree level - preferably in Statistics, Economics, Business or EngineeringKnowledge of Ms ExcelFluent in French & English both written and spoken, another European language is a plus
